Viking - 62" cabin model

A 62" wingspan version of the Viking. Builds into a pretty looking, with a superb thermal performance.

Traditional all wood construction with V dihedral and three channel control. We have always flown our Vikings with electric motors and are now using the the 4-Max proven system - click here.

The model includes a motor mount for this setup. Any 200W is suitable that can be radially mounted.

Parts set includes all shaped balsa and plywood parts, such as formers, bulkhead, wing ribs, tip shapes for wing, tail and fin, plus a full size plan. The new Parts Set also includes a vac-formed cowl to simplify the build.

Just add stripwood and covering to complete the basic airframe. Call us if you need teh additional wood pack.

The Viking won the 2015 SAM35 Duration contest at the FF Nats, Barkston Heath. Our winning model used a 1200mAh 3 cell Lipo and the Hacker motor setup, giving around 300 watts. Backing up our success in 2015, the Viking also won Vintage Duration at the Nationals in 2016.
